Laing House Masquerade Ball, A Night in Rio

2011 is a year of milestones and we need to celebrate. Laing House is now in its tenth year as a peer support organization for youth with mental illness.

As well, we are marking the fifth anniversary for our signature fundraising event, the Laing House Masquerade Ball, to be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011. It is time to dust off the tux, buy a new ball gown, and shine up your dancing shoes as the Laing House Masquerade Ball makes another stop on its world tour. This year we heat things up as we head to the most visited city in the Southern Hemisphere a place famous for breathtaking beaches, dazzling entertainment and of course, Carnival Rio de Janeiro.

In just four years, the Laing House Masquerade Ball is responsible for raising over $645,000 in net profit for the essential programs and services offered at Laing House while creating awareness of youth mental illness.
