Community Partners
Laing House Community Partners
The role of community partners is vital in the creation and success of Laing House programs. Community partners are formally structured organizations from all sectors of the community that share Laing House’s vision of young people prepared to fulfill their potential. As partners, we share our expertise and knowledge with each other, and collaborative community projects are created that benefit all parties involved.
Laing House and its community partners:
• Respect youth experience and empowerment
• Work to reduce stigma associated with mental illness in youth
• Open doors to new opportunities
• Share resources strategically
• Reflect on the relationship and its value on a regular basis
